Duke A. Lyskin was born in August of 1960. After high school, he attended Westmont College and San Diego State University. Mr. Lyskin has been a Registered Representative since 1992 and an Investment Advisor Representative since 2000. Mr. Lyskin has successfully passed four securities registrations exams: Series 6, 7, 63 and 65*. To maintain these registrations, Mr. Lyskin completes FINRA continuing education courses annually.

Mr. Lyskin earned his CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ certification in 2000. To obtain this mark, Mr. Lyskin completed five courses, five examinations (one on each course) and a comprehensive 10-hour test over two days at the University of Southern California. Further to utilizing the certification, CFP® Practitioners agree to abide by a strict code of professional conduct, known as the CFP Board's Code of Ethics and professional responsibility, as well as meeting the requirement to complete 30 hours of continuing education every two years. Prerequisites for the CFP® certification include at least three years minimum experience in the Financial Planning process as a final step to certification.

Mr. Lyskin also earned his Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) credential from American College in 2001. To obtain this designation, Mr. Lyskin completed eight college level courses representing an average study time of 400 hours. CLU designees must meet experience and continuing education requirements and must adhere to a high ethical standard.

Mr. Lyskin has also been granted the Accredited Investment Fiduciary designation. AIF® designees have acquired a thorough knowledge of fiduciary responsibility; a fiduciary is required by law to always act in the best interest of their client, beneficiary, or retirement plan participant. AIF designees have successfully completed a program on investment fiduciary standards of care at the Center for Fiduciary Studies and have passed a comprehensive examination of the 27 Prudent Investment Practices. Designees are also required to adhere to continuing professional education requirements, which keep them abreast of recent events in the industry that affect every fiduciary.

Mr. Lyskin received his RICP® designation in 2019. The RICP® educational curriculum is the most complete and comprehensive program available to professional financial advisors looking to help their clients create sustainable retirement income. The rigorous three-course credential helps advisors master retirement income planning, a key focus area not fully covered in other professional designation programs. From retirement portfolio management techniques and mitigation of retirement risks, to the proper use of annuities, employer-sponsored benefits, and determining the best social security claiming age, the RICP® provides a wealth of practical information for advisors.
